My name is Maddy Malina and I am in the graduating class of 2019, this is my first class for photography and I had a lot of fun. School is very important to me so it was great to have a class where I could just let loose and express myself in. Photography this year was a great way to kind of just slow down and find the little joys in life that I could capture with a camera.

I think by taking this class I enjoyed art again because I wasn't always so great at the drawing and painting side of things. In this class I discovered that there is so much more than just pressing a button. I really enjoyed capturing shots of flowers, any type of nature, or my dog. When capturing nature or my dog it freezes time and slows life down almost and captures the joys that you might not notice if just passing by.
